Though it was released all the way back in March of this year, From Software's PS4-exclusive Bloodborne has proven a sizable hit for PlayStation as the title has reached a new milestone according to its team.

Sony revealed through the PlayStation Blog that Bloodborne has achieved lifetime sales of over two million copies sold since its debut in March 2015, marking another impressive development for a title that has been one of the PS4's most unique offerings yet.

The post by SCE Japan Studio producer Masaaki Yamagiwa clarified that the two million sales for Bloodborne reaches across both physical copies and sales of the game digitally through the PlayStation Store, especially impressive given the title reached one million in sales pretty rapidly after release.

Though it was released in the beginning of the year, there's still plenty more of Bloodborne to look forward to in the rest of 2015, as Sony revealed with the upcoming "The Old Hunters" expansion coming to the game in November.

Bloodborne is available now for PS4.
