Mega Man fan blog Rockman Corner sure has some dedicated readers. One particular fellow dug around in the code for the iOS port of Mega Man X and found the logo you see floating above the copy you’re reading right now. After the cancellation of two highly-anticipated games — Mega Man Legends 3 for the Nintendo 3DS and Mega Man Universe for multiple platforms — Capcom has been pretty quiet about what it has in store for the Blue Bomber.

The latest we’ve heard from the company is that the franchise is not dead, the official word coming from Capcom Vice President Christian Svensson. So what does this mean for everyone’s favorite mega-bustin’ blue dude? We can only hope it’s more fanfare than Nintendo gave his arm-cannon-wielding female colleague.
