Not content to just have a few polls to gauge interest in guest characters for Injustice 2, NetherRealm Studios head Ed Boon tweeted up a storm recently to hint at some developments for the super hero fighting game.Teased newcomers to the roster ranged from Black Canary to Dr Fate to Starfire. Boon also named some original Injustice characters who might make the cut: Catwoman and Black Adam. Alas Amazo was de-confirmed and won't be joining the fight against Superman. And even though Spawn won the guest poll, Hellboy was still given a bit of the limelight in a tweet.Injustice 2Outside of roster speculation, Boon also tossed some ideas about costuming and features that might make it inside Injustice 2. Godspeed Flash and Bizarro Superman both made appearances as possible garb for the two heroes. We learned that returning characters will have new moves and that they want to have 'cross continent game play' for the fighter.Injustice 2The most exciting post was a hint towards a playable version of the game coming out before the actual release date:

As with everything Ed Boon says, take it with a big grain of salt. For example, he mentions Marvel a few times but it's highly doubtful that we'll see a comic crossover of that proportion for Injustice 2. However, hopefully these tweets indicate that definite news is coming since it's been months since we've had any kind of reveal.
