PC gamers will be will be pleased to know that the PC version of Borderlands 2 isn’t holding back. A video has surfaced courtesy of Nvidia that highlights the companies latest PhysX technology and how it is making the PC version of Borderlands 2 the envy of all other platforms. The video includes side by-side comparisons of the game running with and without PhysX and the differences are quite clear to see. Much more detail is represented via the particle effects, debris displacement, explosions and all manner of other destructive situations.
It is nice to see Gearbox making the effort to give players the experience that current technology allows for on the PC platform and not merely choosing to port one of the console versions of the game. Whatever platform you’re planning to play on, Borderlands 2 is set to be one of the biggest games of the year. There has been more than enough media released to promote the game; all that is left, is for it to arrive, so we can all start playing!
Borderlands 2, developed by Gearbox and published by 2K Games will be available on September 18th in the US and the 21st in the UK, for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
