Borderlands Dev Team Will Be Joining You At Midnight Launch

on October 16, 2009 9:47 AM

If you live in Texas, we here at DualShockers would like to express how much we hate you at the moment. It has nothing with envying the mob of hot women that permeate your state (although that should be enough reason, though, now that I think about it); it has more to do with the fact that Gearbox and 2K may will be keeping a couple of GameStops open kinda late on October 19th.

Developers of the upcoming Borderlands will be showing up to sign copies, and bring with them a couple of T-shirts and posters to hand out to the lucky folks who show up during midnight launch. You’re probably anxious as hell to find out the locations so you can throw the fact that you got an autograph and a poster at everyone’s faces.

  • 2201 Preston Rd. Plano, TX 75093-2306
  • 6245 Rufe Snow Dr. Forth Worth, TX 76148-3321

Those of you lucky enough to live near the Plano location will have the chance to play Borderlands via a four-player LAN which will be available starting around 9PM. We’re not sure whether or not Forth Worth will get the same treatment, but we’re pretty confident that they will.

If the devs play with you guys, please send some screenies. And try your hardest to make funny gestures behind their backs in those pics. Thanks.

Born and raised in New York City, Yaris is one of three co-founders at DualShockers. Gaming since the inception of Nintendo in the 80's, he has grown to avidly appreciate games of every genre, maturing his preference specifically now to third-person action games, first-person shooters and JRPGs. He's a software engineer, father and husband during the day, and mildly attempts to hold onto his "hardcore gamer" title during the evenings. An attempt that he tends to fail miserably at.
