Borderlands is Here

Have you been waiting for Borderlands to finally arrive? Have you? I have. I have been waiting a long time, in fact.I didn’t go at 12AM to any store to pick up the game – which I will be doing today – because I can actually wait. It’s not like we were going to get any “special” launches over here in NYC like the folks in Texas did.

If you live in northern Texas and you attended the launch whilst shooting the shit with some folks from the Gearbox team at a GameStop they were hanging out at, I hate you. With the company announcing midnight launches at around 1,300 different GameStop stores, I’m pretty sure that a lot of people got their hands on some posters and autographs.

So far, Borderlands has been receiving good reviews across the board from everyone. It’s not the perfect scores some people would have hoped for, but it’s good enough to conclude that the game is definitely worth getting. If you haven’t reserved your copy for god knows what reason, you should probably do something about that. Expect a review real soon… and you know how DualShockers gets down with their review.
