Bound Developers Talk About Gameplay, Narrative Aspects and Visual Style

During a live cast at PlayStation Experience 2015, Michal Staniszewski and Karol Krok from Plastic Studios unveiled further details on their story-driven 3D platformer Bound regarding narration, gameplay and visual style.

Michal Staniszewski describes Bound as a game and a “notgame” at the same time: everything from penalties to tasks and UI were removed in order to allow players to concentrate on the character and the world around her. The story will be very mature as well as the most important aspect of the game.

The main character was created with a rich personality as a way to bring about a game with very unique elements. The dancing moves are totally part of the game and include inspirations from ballerina, modern jazz, ice skating and gymnastics. On the visual style side, the developers concentrated on Modern Art from the last century.

Bound will be coming to PS4 in 2016. The live cast can be watched out below:
