PC Gamers!  Have you ever brought your rig to a LAN (Local Area Network) party only to find that the network infrastructure and your gaming PC just did not mix, leaving you with less then ideal settings to frag in?  Well get your guns reloaded because at QuakeCon 2010 all gamers get in for free and not only do you get to be the first to learn new information about upcoming games, but also bring your entire computer network with you to hook up to the giant QuakeCon network and participate in world-class tournaments!  Read more for the full scoop on this event going down in Texas this summer.

QuakeCon 2010 is being hosted by id Software, Bethesda Softworks, and ZeniMax Media at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas this August from Thursday the 12th to Sunday the 15th.  Attendance is free for all people who want to attend, this is not a press-only event.  Attendees will also get to meet and interact with game developers, see the latest in exciting technology innovations, and see exhibits from the sponsors as well as other exhibitors.  As the case was last year, Quake will not be the only game in the house.  I am personally hoping to see more of the game id has been working on called Rage.  Time to start checking your calendars and getting ready to book your flights.  I know I will!
