This is not a drill. I repeat, this is not a drill. While we heard back in June that Accolade had been revived and that Black Forest Games would be developing a new game featuring the infamous 90's mascot Bubsy the Bobcat, we actually got a release date for Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back today: October 31. In addition, a limited physical edition of the title, called the Purrfect Edition, was also unveiled.

Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back Purrfect Edition will be available in limited quantities at Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop for $39.99. It comes with the base game, a CD containing the game's soundtrack, a "mystery Bubsy movie poster postcard", and Busby’s official business card. If you just want to pick up the game digitally, you can do so on PSN, Steam and GOG for $29.99.

Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back will include fourteen different levels that see Bubsy collecting balls of yarn and taking down the evil Woolies who have stolen his prized Golden Fleece. Bubsy will have all of his classic moves at his disposal to take down his enemies. If you can't get enough of his quips, there is no need to worry, as over 100 new one liners have been given to Bubsy in this game. The developers also revealed today that the game will include full German language support.

You can check out a brand new trailer and new screenshots for the game below. Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back will be releasing on PC and PS4 on October 31. I can't believe I actually just typed that sentence.
