Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition Launch Trailer Released

on March 24, 2017 9:00 AM

Today, developer People Can Fly and publisher Gearbox Publishing released Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition’s launch trailer ahead of its release on April 7, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

The new trailer, which is one minute and 43 seconds long, offers up a high-octane glimpse at what players can expect when the remaster launches. It’s Bulletstorm: so there’s a lot of explosions and crazy, invigorating non-stop action on show. Oh, and there’s a very fitting — equally intense and nonstop — song that accompanies the trailer too. It reminds me of Bulletstorm.

For those that don’t know: Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition is a remaster of the 2011 Bulletstorm released by the same developer on the last-generation consoles and PC. According to People Can Fly, it features updated hi-res textures, increased polygon counts, sterling audio, and smoother framerates. It also runs at 4K on PC and PS4 Pro. As you would expect, all of the previously-released DLC is included along with some new content.

Speaking of new content, notably you can play the whole game as Duke Nukem now (well if you preorder). Playing as Duke Nukem means you will play with a fully rerecorded script and brand new lines from the voice of Duke, Jon St. John. In the add-on content, called The Duke Nukem’s Bulletstorm Tour, protagonist Grayson Hunt is simply replaced with the Duke man.

Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition  boasts the following features:

  •  The Total Package – All previously-released content, including the Gun Sonata and Blood Symphony add-on packs, now on modern platforms.

  • New Overkill Campaign Mode – Upon completing the main campaign, blast through this New Game+ mode with an unrestricted arsenal of weapons and Skillshots.

  • New Echo Maps – Players can showcase their skills on six brand-new levels for the score-based Echo Mode.

  • Killer Visuals  Presented with updated models, environments, and animations all running at 60 FPS across all platforms.

  • The Art of Destruction – Pull off masterful kills by mixing fast-paced gunplay with unique kick, slide, and leash combos.

  • Visceral Audio – Orchestrate a crescendo of chaos with newly remastered audio effects.

  •  Duke Nukem’s Bulletstorm Tour – Play through the entire Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition campaign as Duke Nukem, featuring full voice over and brand-new lines from Jon St. John, the original voice of Duke.

Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition will cost $59.99 USD when it launches. Below, you can check out the launch trailer:
