Bungie on Destiny for PC: “We’re Not Saying We’re Not Gonna Do it”

on January 8, 2014 7:45 PM

Bungie’s Destiny has been announced for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, with no hints for a possible PC version. Today Technical Art Director Ryan Ellis said something that could light up a ray of hope for PC gamers in an interview on Game Informer.

We have not announced that. And by “not announced” I mean we’re not even… hinting that we’re doing a PC Version. I’m gonna be clear with that, because I will be in trouble.

When the interviewer pressed him a little more asking if by not hinting he was actually hinting, Ellis responded:

(Laughs) We’re not saying we’re not gonna do it. Wait…

The tone of the answer was definitely tongue-in-cheek, and if I had to wager some of my head-earned grocery money, I’d put it on the option that Ellis was definitely hinting.

That said, we have to begrudgingly take this with a grain of salt at least until Bungie announces something official about it, and unfortunately that could take a long time, if it’ll ever happen.
