Bungie’s latest theme in their weekly updates seems to be reconnecting with the players. This is a reasonable concern, seeing that a lack of communication seems to be the Destiny community’s largest pet peeve with the studio ever since launching Destiny. The Taken King. However, according to the latest This week at Bungie, the developers of Destiny have invested in an in-house streaming studio. The end goal is to begin weekly streams, launching March 2016.

Bungie is no stranger to Twitch streaming, hosting a few developer showcases for The Taken King and the short-live Sparrow Racing League. These new March streams will run the gamut from Ride Alongs, Bungie Bounties, and the occasional content reveal. According to community manager “DeeJ” (David Dague), the purpose of this move is to facilitate a new channel of communication from the developer studio to the (sometime rabid) fanbase.
