If you thought a retro-looking pixel art game could not gather a whole lot of money on Kickstarter you were wrong, as demonstrated by C-Wars by Chinese indie studio Onipunks, that took the crowdfunding site by storm and just ended its campaign with $95,574 thanks to 3,348 backers.

The game managed to hit all its stretch goals including 3DS, PS Vita, iOS and Wii U versions in addition to the original PC, Linux, Mac and Android ones, ensuring that almost everyone will have a chance to play it.

Now we just have to wait for the game's release this October (at least for the original platforms, while the additional ones will come a bit later). If you still want to lend your support you can upvote it on Steam Greenlight in order to provide it with a wider distribution platform.
