Activision’s latest First Person Shooter has hit stores today; Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2011! I know Cabela’s hunting games have always been “that” game, hunting simulators have never been very popular with most people. This one changes things up a bit though by adding in some Survival Horror elements. If that doesn’t sound awesome, I don’t know what does!
The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system versions operate with 2.4GHz wireless technology and include a sensor bar and high-sensitivity camera, while the Wii version integrates the Wii Remote™ and Nunchuk™. The scope includes a red lens filter that gives players a different perspective on the environment, exposing hidden animal tracks and deadly predators. The TOP SHOT ELITE also features pump-action reload and an adjustable stock to fit gamers of all sizes.
That might be one of the coolest Gun Peripherals I’ve ever seen. Adjustable stock, infrared scope and you have to manually reload? Can we get Call of Duty support for this thing? The peripheral is made by Red Octane, probably most famous for creating the original Guitar Hero controllers, so you know it’s a sturdy controller.
The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system versions that include the TOP SHOT ELITE have an MSRP of $79.99, while the Wii version is $59.99. All of the stand alone console versions are $39.99 and the Nintendo DS version is $29.99.
