Atlus announced that the FuRyu developed RPG The Caligula Effect, coming digitally to PlayStation Vita on May 2 in North America and now on May 9 in Europe.

The publisher doesn't give a reason for the delay, but given that it's such a short time frame, it doesn't seem to be related to the game's performance.

Additionally, new screenshots were released showing the game's battle system that was previewed in a trailer released by Atlus yesterday. Players must take advantage of the Imaginary Chain battle system that allows for strategic planning and attack execution. With each of the game's 500+ characters having different offensive and support skills, this is a good way to clearly see if they work with your play style, since you can only have a party of four.
