Last Thursday, Treyarch officially announced their latest DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Called Zombie Chronicles, this downloadable content will include remastered versions of old zombie mode maps from Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Today, Activision has released some new and interesting information about the map pack.

For starters, the publisher announced that the price will be $29.99, which is double the cost of a normal Call of Duty map pack. That being said, this DLC does contain almost double the amount of maps. It's also worth noting that Activision says that Zombie Chronicles will not be a part of the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Season Pass.

In addition to the pricing, the publisher announced bonus content that comes with the Zombie Chronicles DLC. You can find the full list of bonuses, straight from Activision, below:

  • 20 Vials of Liquid Divinium
  • 2 All-New Whimsical GobbleGums
  • Exclusive Zombies Pack-A-Punch Weapon Camo
  • Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles Dynamic System Theme for PlayStation 4 (exclusive pre-order incentive), featuring artwork by renowned artist

Finally, the publisher also announced that, starting today, they will launching a campaign known as 8 Days of the Undead. During this event, players will be able to earn double XP, participate in new community challenges, and earn new Zombies themed calling cards, weapon camos, GobbleGums, and even a PS4 theme.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombie Chronicles will be released next week, on May 16th, 2017. Like every Call of Duty DLC since Call of Duty: Black Ops III, this one will be released first on PlayStation 4.
