Although Call of Duty: Black Ops II will not be out for another seven months, it’s already making an impact. In a statement released to Gamespot, online retailer Amazon stated that, “day [one] of Black Ops II [pre-orders] were more than [ten] times the amount of preorders for the first Black Ops on its first day of availability.”
Black Ops II is even making a mark when compared its predecessor: Modern Warfare 3. The upcoming title “even out [pre-ordered] the first day of availability for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 by more than [thirty] percent,” said an Amazon representative. Something else to make note of, Modern Warfare 3 received one of the highest amounts of pre-orders out of all of Amazon’s products.
So far there has been nothing about this game to cause concern – other than the 2007-esque graphics in the trailer. Blacks Ops II is currently in development and will be released November 13th 2012.
