The multiplayer beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops III is currently undergoing, and Treyarch just announced that a new update has been pushed on the servers, bringing the version to 2.9.25.2.

The new update raises the level cap to Major (level 34), and if you manage to reach it, you’ll unlock a new specialist, the experimental war robot Reaper. Reaching the level cap will also unlock new perks and scorestreak.

On top of that, the new Stronghold map has been added, set in a high-tech castle in the Swiss alps. The map has an asymmetric design and looks definitely good.

Last but not least, the new “Uplink” mode has been added, with its own playlist.
