Call of Duty: Black Ops is finally available on Xbox One backward compatibility, Microsoft has announced, after being announced more than six months ago.

If you own a physical copy of the original Xbox 360 game, you can pop your disc into your Xbox One to get it installed. Alternatively, digital owners can download it by going to the My Games & Apps section on their Xbox One.

If you don't own Black Ops, Xbox Live Gold members are currently able to download it for £11.24.

Call of Duty: Black Ops launched on Xbox 360, PS3, PC back in 2010. This year's game, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, arrives on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 4.
