It has been revealed today that Call of Duty: Black Ops will be releasing on Nintendo DS alongside its console version counterparts on November 9, 2010.  The title will be developed by n-Space, the guys who have brought you Call of Duty 4 and World at War to Nintendo DS. This time around, the Nintendo DS version will have players playing as CIA-backed operatives that have been dropped in the shadowy world of deniable operations with an expansive arsenal of weapons at their disposal.

Call of Duty: Black Ops for the Nintendo DS is going to take the handheld Call of Duty experience to a new level,” said Dan O’Leary, n-Space Studio Head. “From taking the controls of an attack helicopter to flying an experimental stealth fighter jet, players will have a wealth of new features to utilise.”

Call of Duty: Black Ops on Nintendo DS will feature online multiplayer for up to 6 players, a new Perks Systems, and a two-player co-op mode. Along with all that, there will also be Arcade and Challenge modes that will provide more replay value as you play through single-player missions for a second (or third, or fourth) time around.
