The single player modes in Call of Duty: Ghosts used to run at 720p on the PS4, not the claimed 1080p, Activision has revealed.
In order to run at the advertised 1080p, a patch is required. Speaking to Eurogamer, an Activision representative said that the resolution issue is caused by a configuration issue.
There was a configuration issue in the retail version on single-player mode only. This has been addressed with a day one software update. People will be able to download the day one update when PlayStation 4 launches in their territory and play at native 1080p
Multiplayer appears to run at the advertised 1080p, and with the Day 1 patch, Activision are sticking to their statement that Call of Duty: Ghosts will be a 1080p game on PS4.
Call of Duty: Ghosts runs natively at 1080p on the PlayStation 4
