The European PlayStation Blog announced today that three game modes for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be available for free from December 15th to the 20th.

Specifically, the first two levels of the single-player campaign, “Rising Threat” and “Black Sky”, multiplayer mode until Level 15, and zombie mode until level 3 will all be available for trial during this period. Those who decide to purchase the game will be able to transfer their progress and experience over.

PlayStation Plus will be required for multiplayer and Zombies in Spaceland, and the trial will essentially be the full game with restricted access, meaning that players will need at least 60 GB to download the whole thing. Of course, if they decide to buy the game afterword, they won't have to download it again.

Dualshockers reviewed Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare as a game in the long-running series that's changed the paradigm quite radically, especially in regards to its single-player campaign, with talent from Naughty Dog on board.

The newest entry in the franchise saw itself on top of the UK's sales charts yet again this week, with Activision perhaps eyeing to maintain that position until the Christmas holiday, according to Gfk Chart-Track.
