Capcom Introduces the Monsters of Monster Hunter 3G

Capcom released today a batch of screenshots and artwork of the upcoming Nintendo 3DS action-jrpg Monster Hunter 3G, showcasing some of the monsters that will appear in the game.

The first of the monsters shown, the “Smasher Dragon” Brakidos (that you can see above), is actually a new entry in the series, even if it was spotted before at Tokyo Game Show and has become a sort of poster character to repressent the game. while the others already appeared in the previous games of the series.

The Brakidos is a purple and wingless dragon-like creature to which nature granted two extremely strong front arms covered by a green slime that explodes upon contact due to a chemical reaction triggered by the bacteria that live in the saliva of the monster. It’s also very agile and hard-hitting.
