Capcom Releasing Six Classic Mega Man Titles to 3DS eShop for “Mega May”

The last year or two have been quiet for fans of Mega Man, 2014 will bring plenty for veterans of The Blue Bomber to look forward to, especially on Nintendo consoles this year.

While Mega Man will be making his appearance in the latest iteration of Super Smash Bros. on Wii U and 3DS, Capcom announced that six classic handheld Mega Man titles will be heading to the 3DS eShop this spring, as part of their “Mega May.” The titles that will be released are below, all coming from either Game Boy or Game Boy Color:

  • Mega Man II (Game Boy)
  • Mega Man III (Game Boy)
  • Mega Man IV (Game Boy)
  • Mega Man V (Game Boy)
  • Mega Man Xtreme (Game Boy Color)
  • Mega Man Xtreme 2 (Game Boy Color)

Each of the titles will begin releasing on the eShop for 3DS beginning May 1st, while Capcom has also released a fan poll collecting votes to see which of the six titles will be released first.
