A few new game-play details have emerged regarding Capcom's upcoming fighting game Darkstalkers Resurrection. Like Skullgirls and the Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike remake before it, Darkstalkers Resurrection will use GGPO netcode for its online modes. This stable netcode is becoming a popular choice for 2D fighting games with 2D visuals, probably because of how fluidly it performs between two players with low pings to one another.

Furthermore, the game will include a variety of search options for finding an online match. Players can filter search results by player skill rating, region and connectivity (or ping). Hopefully if support for Darkstalkers Resurrection is strong, Capcom will finally decide to create a completely new Darkstalkers fighting game.

Darkstalkers Resurrection will be available for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 14th.
