Capcom to Address Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Glitches with Forthcoming Patch

Infinites can really take the fun out of playing a game online. Nothing is more infuriating than some soulless idiot trapping you in a never-ending combo that shouldn’t have made it past QA testing. Unfortunately, it would be practically impossible for anyone to identify each and every game-breaking glitch or infinite in a fighting game before it gets into players’ hands.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 proves this with its multitude of broken setups, but they will be addressed with a patch set to release before the end of the year. Ryota Niitsuma disclosed this via Twitter. Also noteworthy, he has stated that there are currently no plans for another update to the game. This probably means that it won’t be milked until the cows come home ala Street Fighter IV. Stay tuned for release details for the patch.
