A new trailer has been launched today, which shows off the exclusive features for the Wii U version of Resident Evil: Revelations. Resident Evil: Revelations launches for Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on May 21 in North America.

According to the trailer, you’ll be able to use the gamepad and the TV screen simultaneously to play the game–the TV displaying the enemies and the actual 3D environment and the gamepad displaying the menu and various weapons in the character’s possession. You can also play the game with the gamepad only (you know, in case you get kicked off the TV by someone else).

There are also two more exclusive features that are tied in with Miiverse–being able to make the enemies talk to other players in their game and reading “game over” messages left by other players who shared the same fate, so to speak.

While the Miiverse features sound like fun, it remains to be seen whether the rest of these Wii U features will be enough  to set the game apart from its other console releases and make it worth purchasing.
