While initially unveiled back at Microsoft’s press conference at E3 2015, Capybara Games’ adventure title Below has been quietly in development for some time now, and while the title was eyeing a release window sometime in 2015, the studio has revealed (unsurprisingly) that the title will instead be delayed to release in 2016.
Speaking to Game Informer, Capybara Games revealed that while Below will be missing its intended launch by the end of 2015, the studio mentioned that it “is indeed coming in 2016,” though no more specific timeframe was revealed at this time.
Originally revealed at E3 2013 as a dark, roguelike adventure title, Capybara Games’ Nathan Vella explained to Game Informer that while the title is coming sometime next year “past that I can’t share much, yet. We’ll certainly have a lot more content to show and news to share in the new year.”
Below is currently in development for Xbox One and PC, and expected to release in 2016.
