Everyone spent most of the summer talking about Duck Tales Remastered while I just sat here waiting for the release of Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse. I only played the game a couple of times on an emulator, but I was curious as to what Sega was bringing to the table with their remake of this classic title.

Castle of Illusion has undergone changes similar to the aforementioned Duck Tales, including the addition of voice-acting, high-definition remakes of all the levels, and new music. Additionally, the game has ventured outside of its original parameters and has included 2.5D and 3D stages in addition to its classic 2D platforming setup.

Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse was remade by Sega Studios Australia and is being published by Sega and Disney for the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, and Steam.
