Catherine Art Book Being Released in Japan, Includes Early Concept Art

Catherine is all the rage here in the U.S., considering a demo for the story-driven puzzler comes out tomorrow and the full game is set to hit store shelves in a couple weeks, on July 26th. But, it did get pretty high marks in Japan, and the artwork from Team Persona is always a sight to behold.

To that end, Index Corporation (not surprisingly, this is Atlus’ parent company) along with Dengeki are going to release a 160 page art book titled Catherine: Visual & Scenario Collection ♀VENUS☆MODE♂. This art book will be filled with all sorts of Catherine art, from early sketches to final rendered images in its five chapters. It’ll be available to purchase or import on August 10th. Below I’ve stashed a tiny shot of some of the pieces of art in the book, including what looks like either a very early concept of Katherine, or the team putting the book together got mixed up and slipped a drawing of Mitsuru from Persona 3 in there.
