Catherine Moves 200,000 Copies in Week One

on August 4, 2011 5:00 PM

Quite a surprise this is, depending on who you ask. Atlus USA tweeted the image of a cake with Catherine‘s PS3 box art on it, and a “200,000 sold” off to the side. If you’d glance to the other side of the cake, you’ll see that was in the first week. This is great for both Atlus, and fans of quirky and different Japanese titles, as it shows that games like this can and will sell well outside of Japan. If you haven’t tried it, I suggest you do – regardless of the genres you gravitate toward. Our review is coming soon, so stay tuned!
