Celebrate the PSN Launch of Demon’s Souls with a Pure White World Tendency Event

Atlus has today released their best-selling and highly acclaimed action RPG Demon’s Souls to the PlayStation Network Store. That means that if you haven’t played it yet, or even if you have played it but sold it or something, you can now purchase it without leaving your home. To celebrate the game’s digital launch, Atlus will be hosting a special Pure White World Tendency event. This rare event will run from today until January 14th. During the event, players will have increased attack power while enemies will have reduced attack power, defense, and HP.

Additionally, enemies will drop a greater amount of healing items and players will have access to special NPCs and areas. The point of the event seems to be to lower the game’s notoriously high difficulty curve to ease new players into it. I’ve played Dark Souls (I like it, don’t love it) but never Demon’s Souls so I might take this opportunity to snag it. The game is available for $20.
