Killer is Dead didn’t do too well sales-wise in its debut week in Japan, but Goichi Suda’s games seem to pretty much always click better with the western audience than with gamers at home.

If you want to give the game an extensive look before it gets released in the United States on August the 27th (and in Europe on August the 30th) now you can check out a whole 40 minutes of gameplay, courtesy of Japanese Youtuber Kengo Nakamura.

The video includes the first three chapters of the game: Chapter 1: The Man who Chose the Moon, Chapter 2: Killer is Dead and Chapter 3: A Woman of Pain. Will Killer is Dead do better in the west? Judge for yourself just below.
