Check Out How to Play an RPG with Swapnote

Ben Gray wasn’t just satisfied with using the Nintendo 3DS’ Swapnote app to send Internet memes to his friends. Oh, no. The man who’s known on YouTube as MNCDover wanted more. He wanted to create a bonafide role-playing experience with the message-swapping service. And so he did. As you can see by the video embedded below, he’s got everything covered, from setup to execution and even methods of tricking your 3DS so that it will keep your notes nice and organized.

What an interesting way to use the app. So far my messages haven’t been much outside of meme-tastic drawings and vain attempts at trying to locate two random 3DS owners in my apartment building. What’s that? You don’t have Swapnote? Well, log into the eShop and throw down the $0 it costs. Worth every penny.
