Check Out Mortal Kombat Legacy’s Season 2 Trailer

Whether you like all of it, some of it, or none of it, Mortal Kombat: Legacy was a pretty decent success, enough to warrant a sequel season, at least. The fatal Machinima webseries is back, and along with it is a trailer showing off what’s to come.

You can see the trailer below, which shows off additions to the cast, like Ermac, Kung Lao, and Kenshi, and perhaps most importantly Liu Kang, and some re-casts, like a new and improved [Asian] Raiden, and a new Johnny Cage. The biggest part of the trailer, though, may be seeing Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa returning to the role of Shang Tsung after nearly twenty years away from the MK franchise (during which he got to cross over to the other side and portray Heihachi Mishima in the incredibly disappointing Tekken movie).

Does this trailer get you excited? Do you think it will be even better than the first season of Legacy? Do you think Legacy even deserved a sequel season? Let us know in the comments below, and while you’re at it, tell us your most favorite and least favorite episode in the first season, and who else you hope will debut in this season. And, as always, stay tuned to DualShockers.com for more news.

Born and raised in video games and "geek culture," Masoud has been bred off of fantasy worlds his entire life and doesn't see anything wrong with that. He loves RPGs (especially TRPGs), sandbox games, the sci-fi genre, dieselpunk, art deco, and anything that allows him to create. Having graduated from John Jay College with a degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing, Masoud hopes to one day pen the same novels, comics, movies, and video games he enjoys escaping into when the real world gets too boring.
