Where developers won’t provide, the community will, and since Nintendo didn’t really care to give us a version of the latest Xenoblade Chronicles video that isn’t spoken in moonrunes (ok, they aren’t moonrunes, but for many western gamers they might as well be), YouTube user Xu Jie posted a subtitled version.
You can finally watch the video and understand what it says, making it quite a lot more interesting for those that don’t understand Moonrun…ahem…Japanese.
Enjoy it below (If you can’t see the subtitles, click on the “cc” button), while we wait for Nintendo to realize that this game will indeed be released in the West, and it might actually be pretty important to push the Wii U during the Holiday season, so telling us stuff about it in English might not be that much of a terrible idea.
Ah, that mysterious science named “marketing”… or maybe it’s magic? It has weird rules like “for your promotion to be effective, people have to be able to understand it,” or “people might like to know about your games even if they don’t have silly Italian plumbers and green-clad smurfs.” Who would have known?
