Today Gust released the first pictures of the upcoming Shin Atelier Rorona (New Atelier Rorona), the PS3 and PS Vita remake of the classic 2009 JRPG Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland.

We already knew that the remake, that will be released in Japan in November, will feature remade character models to better represent Mel Kishida's artwork and the difference is quite visible

Below you can see pairs of screenshots showcasing more or less the same subject. In each pair you'll see the new screenshot (courtesy of Dengeki Online) above, while below there'll be the one from the 2009 PS3 game.

As you can notice, Rorona has more realistic proportions, that definitely show a better resemblance with Kishida-sensei's style. For reference, just check out the lovely illustration printed on the cover of the upcoming issue of Dengeki PlayStation. Promising, isn't it?
