Turn-based smoothness. Fans of classic JRPGs should keep an eye out for Celestian Tales: Old North.

It seems like Celestian Tales: Old North is trying some inspiration from classic JRPGs while trying to tell a mature narrative.  There are six different characters that you can play as to  experience the over arching narrative from six perspectives.

Each of the characters is young noble trying to ascend to the rank of knighthood before a war threatens everything and everyone in the Old North. Developer Ekuator Games is trying give the player’s decisions carry weight and have impact the world in meaningful ways. Expect to see some great art and classic turn-based combat inspired of JRPGs of yesterday.

Celestian Tales: Old North is coming to PC on August 10.
