Check Out These Awesome Dragon Ball Z and One Pieces Statues for J-Stars Victory Vs

on March 18, 2014 4:00 PM

To celebrate the launch of J-Stars Victory Vs tomorrow in Japan, Shibuya retailer PARCO Koen-Dori created some larger than life statues of two of the most iconic Shonen heroes in modern times — Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece and Son Goku from Dragon Ball Z.

Son Goku is pictured ready to shoot off his trademark Kamehameha Wave, while Luffy’s already unleashed his special attack the Elephant Gun (and managed to “damage” the concrete in his wake). What’s awesome is that workers from PARCO who set up the display used actual broken up tiles and concrete to create the destruction effect. And that car you see in the back, all busted up? That’s a real car too.

All the awesome screenshots of the display have been posted in a gallery below, so definitely check them out.
