Check Out Two Blurry Pictures of the Upcoming Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Benchmark

Lately Square Enix shown off quite a lot of gameplay footage from the Alpha testing of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Today, for once, they revealed something that is not from the alpha, publishing two small and blurry pictures of the upcoming official benchmark on their Developers’ Blog.

Unfortunately the pictures are indeed small and blurry, and on top of that they seem to be of the lowest available definition and resolution (if you squint you can notice it says 1280×720 low), but we can actually catch a first look on the reborn Ul’dah in the first picture (that you can see above). That’s a change of pace from the usual woods around Gridania. The second picture seems to be set in La Norsca, if the lighting isn’t tricking me, but don’t take my word for it. Your guess is as good as mine, as there isn’t much you can find out from a tree and a piece of sky.
