Civilization V Adds Spanish, Incan Civs This Month

We’ve got a brand new DLC pack for the already-enormous Civilization V to announce today. This add-on will bring Spain and Inca into the mix, with their leaders, Isabella and Pachacuti respectively. Isabella, you history buffs may remember, played an instrumental role in the discovery of the new world when she helped to fund Columbus’s expedition there in 1492. So to go along with her inclusion in the game, Firaxis will also be adding a new scenario, which models this tumultuous time in history. Set in 1492, it depicts the discovery of the new world as Spain, England, and France all make their attempts to colonize and control it, while being forced to deal with native populations and each other.

The Double Civilization and Scenario Pack: Spain and Inca will be available on December 16th. Be sure to check out our full gallery of screenshots and art after the jump!
