Are you ready to sink your Battleships in glorious 4K high-definition pixel-perfect accuracy?

Hasbro has coordinated a deal with Ubisoft to make that a reality, as the titular board game-maker has announced that their line-up of classic board games will be heading to the next console generation. While the specific platforms were not mentioned, Hasbro has been making great strides in the mobile scene, such as a publishing deal made with EA back in 2008, allowing Hasbro to release their games across mobile and console platforms.

Hasbro now seems set to bring their stable of classic games to Xbox One, PS4, and Wii U, with a line-up including Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Battleship, Cranium, and others to the next-gen, and to expand their licenses’ appeal to as many different gaming experiences as possible.

Ubisoft’s SVP of Sales and Marketing, Tony Key, mentioned that “Hasbro makes games that we all know and love, and we’re thrilled to be able to work with them to create video game experiences based on some of their most popular brands.”

So: eye-poppingly gorgeous letter tiles falling down on screen for next-gen Scrabble…where do I start the download?
