New screenshots for Code Princess, a side-scrolling action game by Agatsuma Entertainment and featuring the character design by Kinu Nishimura (who designed the characters in the Street Fighter series and in Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors), have been released and they're making me all tingly inside.
The game is set to be released in Japan Spring 2012. It features four playable main characters, all with different types of awesome in their designs (though I have a special spot in my heart for Solange Blanche Fleur de Lys, the half-naked girl with the huge sword)
The game features both single and multiplayer modes. Also, while it is a side-scrolling game, the background has three different depth layers, distinguishing it from the side-scrollers of old.
