Come Gawk at Assassin’s Creed IV’s Spectacular New Screens

A beautiful batch of screens of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed IV has trickled out in relation to San Diego’s Comic Con. These screens show off some concept art, environments, and game-play featuring huge sharks. Although I am slightly turned off by the rapid release of AC titles, I have to admit that this looks really interesting. One of the pieces of art shows a pirate preparing to spear a harmless whale. I wonder if that will be an important game-play component. I could see PETA having a field day with this.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U in North America on October 29th, in Australia on October 31st, in Europe on November 1st and in Japan on November 28th. It is also in development for the PS4, Xbox One and PC and those versions of the game are due out sometime this year. View the new screens below.
