One of the more memorable and unique aspects of David Cage's games (next to the stories) is the quality of their scores. Both 2005's Indigo Prophecy and 2010's Heavy Rain both had some amazing scores.

Following the passing of Normand Corbeil (composer of Heavy Rain and original composer on Beyond: Two Souls), collaborators Lorne Balfe (Assassin's Creed III) and Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception) stepped in to complete his unfinished work. In this video about Beyond: Two Souls' score, the two discuss the anatomy of a film/gaming score and how it evolves as the story and production of the project evolves. They also talk about their work with David Cage, and their experiences with video game themes.

Beyond: Two Souls is being developed by Quantic Dream and will be published by Sony for the PlayStation 3 on October 8th, 2013.
