Funcom's Conan Exiles is already out on Steam Early access, but Xbox One players can expect the game to launch on Xbox Game Preview in the third quarter of this year, alongside the second biome that will expand the game from the current desert into highlands and mountains.

Today DualShockers had an extensive chat with Game Director Joel Bylos, who gave us an update on the Xbox One version.

Bylos mentioned that the game is already running on Xbox One internally, it looks pretty good and the control system needs some work. On that note, he explained that one thing that he really likes of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on his Nintendo Switch is the way the hotbar selection is handled.

At that, of course, we asked whether a Nintendo Switch version of the game is possible, since the game is also coming to PS4 early next year. Bylos clarified that the developer has not talked with Nintendo, and currently there are no plans for porting the game to the Switch.

If you're unfamiliar with Conan Exiles, and want to read more, you can check out my recent preview, in which I give plenty of details on what makes the game tick.

Of course, the full interview will be coming soon, so stay tuned. There will be a lot of new information for your perusal.
