Funcom released a couple of new pictures on its official Conan Exiles Facebook account, the pictures showcase tools, that appropriately can be used not-so-peaceful purposes, and ruins of past civilizations.

As you survive in the wasteland in Conan Exiles‬ you'll be crafting and discovering new tools that allow you to do various things.

The hammer is great for repairing broken structures and equipment, and can make for a decent makeshift weapon in case of emergencies. The pickaxe lets you very quickly break up big rocks so you can gather more resources.

Now the dagger is very special. This sacrificial knife is used to cut out the heart of your enemies so you can sacrifice it to Set, the serpent god.

The desert is where your Conan Exiles‬ journey begins. After being cut down from a cross you'll have to do scrounge up resources to create tools and build a shelter to protect you from the elements.

Adventurous exiles can often find remnants from past civilizations as they make their way through the harsh desert landscape.

These old castles and temples can prove to be quite dangerous if you're not prepared, but fortune favors the bold.

You can check out the artwork below. Conan Exiles will enter early access on Steam in January 2017, and will be released on PS4 and Xbox One at a later date.
