Conduit 2 Developer Video Interview

I’m not going to even try to lie to you all. During our time at E3 if we had even stepped into the Nintendo booth for more than 60 seconds, that would be a miracle. To be quid honest, other than the 3DS (which was strapped to women’s special area on the show floor) there really wasn’t anything else going on at the Ninty Booth. The Wii title that did manage to grab our interest was brought to the show by 3rd party developers High Voltage Software and Publisher Sega and the game i’m talking about is Conduit 2. Not only did the game look great but we also had the chance to see how they would be able to answer to the cries of Wii gamers everywhere that have had to play through some sub par multiplayer experiences due to the lack of a traditional form of online communication. So how did they pull this off? Easy, with the first ever official Wii headset thanks to accessory maker PDP. That’s right, (decent) online communication is coming to the Wii thanks in part to Conduit 2. You can thank them later, in the meantime check out this interview with Tony Mecca one of the games animators below.
