Cost of Changing Your Gamertag is Slightly Less of a Rip-Off This Week

on August 2, 2011 2:00 PM

Tired of that gamertag you picked, freaking out because you couldn’t think of anything and just wanted to play your stupid games? Need more X’s? If you’re fed up with the name you’ve chosen to represent yourself online, Microsoft has you covered with a special deal! For one week only you can change your gamertag for the mere pittance of $7, a far cry cheaper than the standard $10.

That was sarcasm by the way. This is a horrible deal, and shouldn’t cost anything. But if you’re desperate and were planning on doing it soon anyways you may as well get it done this week and save a few bucks. Step by step instructions are available here if you need them.

John is what you might call something of a badass. When he's not writing about games or playing them, he's playing in the Kansas City band "Documentary" and drinking as many different beers as often as he can. He's a huge comic nerd in the best sense of the term, with a particular love for the Creator Owned movement.
