Nexon Europe is releasing the open beta for its free-to-play zombie shooter Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies today.

Partnering with Valve, Nexon has created a zombie-centric experience built around the Counter-Strike franchise. With a large variety of bizarre guns, several different game modes including PVE and PVP, over 50 different maps, crafting and more, the game does seem to have enough content to sate new and old fans alike.

“As always, player feedback means a great deal to us, and is reflected in our games,” said Paul Lee, Product Executive at Nexon Europe in an official statement. “We want to hear about which weapons players enjoy using, which modes they found the most fun, and what they would like to see more of in Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies.”

Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies can be downloaded from Steam, where you can earn new achievements and earn trading cards, and will be officially launched sometime in October. You can also check out a brief teaser below to get a small glimpse at what the game looks like.

Outside of writing about video games, Andrew enjoys binging Netflix, reading a good book and throwing money at anything and everything Star Wars related. He probably finds your lack of faith disturbing.
